Boutique living in Lagos

In the South West of charming Portugal, lies the hip and happening coastal town of Lagos. It's not hard to see why this city is trending right now; cobble-stoned streets and coloured houses are combined with surf, stunning beaches and great food. Add the fact that this coast is sun drenched three quarters of the year and you have your perfect recipe for a sunny escape.

Within this vibing coastal town you can now find an even more hip and happening place to stay,  as Casa Mãe recently opened her doors. This 19th century estate has been turned into a designer's paradise, complete with old city walls, a 7000m squared vegetable garden and a pool to cool off in on hot summer days.

At Casa Mãe, you can choose to sleep in 3 different styles; the classic estate house, the spacious cabanas or the minimalistic Jogo da Bola.

In restaurant Orta you are able to enjoy conscious food straight from their out-of-town organic farm or even from the property's garden. Taste the home made almond milk, one of the freshly pressed juices or bread straight from the oven.

A two minute walk out of the door of your new Casa will get you to the historic centre of Lagos, walk 3 minutes further and you can find yourself with your toes in the sand. The location is perfect to explore everything this little town has to offer and the friendly staff is always there to tell you about the hidden gems of Lagos.
