Japanese Luxury in the Balinese Jungle

When the well designed Japanese Hoshino Resorts announced that their first international venture was going to be located in Bali, the anticipation was high to say the least. Little did we know that our expectations were not only easily met, but surpassed our wildest dreams of luxury in the lush Ubud surroundings.

HOSHINOYA Bali seems to effortlessly blend the contemporary Japanese Decor with Balinese authentic architecture; with one of the most striking features of the resort being the gazebos stretching into the valley.
The modern designs integrated into the wild forests give an idea of  futuristic possibilities; if this is what our near future will look like, we'll take it.

The beautiful Balinese culture is waved throughout the experience, including but not limited to a private temple and craft and offer workshops.

An impressive pool wraps around the villas, offering each room their own access and a semi private lounge area.

In the restaurant you can enjoy fine Balinese cuisine mixed with the art of Japanese presentation. Breakfast can be Japanese, Indonesian or Western. We definitely recommend trying the Indonesian spread on one of your mornings there.

A cable cart takes you down into the valley of the sacred river towards the healing Spa. Enjoy a bath filled with flower peddles overlooking the jungle greens to completely relax and rejuvenate.

The staff is wonderful and accomodating. It is safe to say that all elements for a luxurious design getaway are present.
