Off the grid in Northern Brazil

Praia do Prea, a beach town located about 12 kilometers from the remote but increasingly popular windsport paradise of Jericoacoara, is only accessible by 4wd, taking you as off the grid as you can go.

Here you will find Rancho do Peixe, where sixteen charming beach huts, constructed of locally sourced materials are set up along a palm fringed coast line.

Each Casa is decked out with all conveniences, including the gently sweeping hammock and outdoor shower to complete the tropical holiday dream.

The constant breeze, that changes into a decent wind in the right season turns Rancho do Peixe into the perfect kitesurf getaway.

No need to bring a kite board to enjoy this place however, amenities are plenty. Taking a dip in the inviting pool, indulging in a spa treatment or horse riding through the dunes, are all excellent options to pass time if you ever get bored of laying in your hammock listening to the ocean breeze.

After an intense day of water sports, or just as likely,  after lingering around the property, you can recharge with locally grown foods in one of the two amazing restaurants.

Whether you are looking for the perfect watersport getaway or a city life detox, this is where you will find it.
