Trancoso's Hippest Design Villa

Trancoso, a palm fringed coastal town in the South of swinging Bahia, appears to be one of the most exclusive holiday destinations in Brazil. Initially rediscovered by the hippie scene, this Bahian gem is now frequented by the chic and the famous.

It seems like time has stood still in this little 16th century beach village. A small white church, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, marks the centre of the 'Quadrado' the grassy main square, lined with colourful houses and flowery trees.

When the sun goes down, the star lighted sky and mismatched tree lanterns turn the town into a magical fairytale.

Trancoso has a lot to offer for the style-minded traveler; excellent local cuisine, luxurious accomodation options and plenty to do in the area.

This trendy town calls for a trendy place to stay and we have found the perfect place. Casa Lola is an aesthetically pleasing 4 bedroom villa, surrounding an aqua pool with comfortable day beds.

Everything in the house is thought out to perfection. Natural palettes and materials are mixed with whites and linnen, giving the house a graceful beach vibe. Daily breakfast is served on the beautiful wooden table overlooking the pool.

Just a short 5 minute walk will get you to the Quadrado, from where you can follow a path down to the beach.

Looking to indulge in bohemian luxury? Search no further.
